Intranasal design joins the 1nhaler patent family

1nhaler has extended its patent family to include a single-use intranasal powder delivery device. This is the 5th patent family filed by the company, which currently has IP protection until 2045.

The new intranasal drug delivery device is designed for systemic, nose-to-brain and local nasal administration. It retains the key features of our ultra-compact, flatpack dry powder inhaler while actively dispersing the powder dose into the nasal cavity with a simple squeeze.

1nhaler believes it could be the next generation device of choice for patients wanting an ultra-portable, disposable nasal option, including emergency treatments and inhaled vaccines.

1nhaler has patents granted across the UK, US and the EU as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Africa and South Korea.
